Frequently Asked Questions

  • Where are you located?

I tattoo at In Bloom Tattoo Collective in Peoria, IL

Address: 320 Liberty Street, Peoria, IL 61602

Phone Number: (309) 670-1087

  • What are your rates?

My hourly rate is $175/hr. I try to do my best to give time estimates as accurately as I can, but please understand that it is just an estimate and your project may take more or less time than anticipated.

  • What methods of payment do you take?

Cash is always preferred! I do, however, accept card, Cashapp, and Paypal (no other payment apps).

  • Do you do cover-ups?

I will take on select cover-up projects. All cover-ups will require an in-person consultation so I can see the current tattoo so I can decide if I can take it on and we can come up with a solid game plan.

  • How do I book an appointment or consultation with you?

There are a couple of ways to book a project with me. The easiest and most simple way will be to come into the shop during business hours and speaking with me in person. I am almost always at the shop during those times, but it never hurts to call the shop to make sure I'm there on the off chance I took the day off.

The other way is to go to my Jotform under "Contact and Booking" and fill out the form accordingly. I respond to all requests within a week, so your patience is appreciated.

When you come in or submit your form, I will be able to give you an estimate on your tattoo and from there you can decide if you'd like to book an appointment

To book an appointment with me, I do require a $50.00 non-refundable deposit. You can read more about my deposit policy under "Deposit Policy".

  • How far do you usually book out?

How far I am booked depends on the time of year. Typically, I am booked out 2-4 months. I really try not to book out further than that and will close my books once I hit 4-5 months out. My weekends book out the fastest, so having a back up day during the week is usually a good idea!

  • I booked an appointment, when do I see my design?

I do not send and designs or sketches beforehand. Usually, I am drawing up your design the day before or even the morning of your appointment. When you arrive for your appointment, I will show you the design and any changes can be made that day within reason. We will not tattoo you until you're 110% happy with the design. I am very thorough with my consultation process so I usually get it right on the money; however I'm not a mind reader and it's up to you as the client to effectively communicate your idea to me.

  • What can I do to prepare for my tattoo?

- Make sure to block out plenty of time for your tattoo appointment. Depending on the size of your project, your tattoo may be a whole day affair. Don't schedule anything too close to your appointment so that we have plenty of time to make your tattoo perfect and be able to take breaks if needed. If you are on a time constraint, please tell me as soon as you arrive to your appointment so we can plan accordingly.

- Get a good nights rest, hydrate, and eat a substantial meal before you come (a granola bar is not a substantial meal). Getting tattooed takes a toll on your body, so making sure your in tip-top shape ensures that the process goes as smoothly as possible.

- Shower and practice basic hygiene! We are going to be in close proximity of one another for potentially several hours. Making sure you're clean an smelling nice will make the process much more enjoyable for the both of us!

- Bring a valid I.D.! We are required to make a copy of your form of identification for our paperwork that is required by the state. Acceptable forms of I.D. include a driver's license or other photo I.D., a birth certificate, or a passport. YOU CANNOT GET TATTOOED WITHOUT YOUR I.D. AND WILL BE RESCHEDULED AND FORFEIT YOUR DEPOSIT IF YOU DO NOT HAVE IT!

- Wear comfortable clothing! You don't need to impress us, we're just focused on giving you a rad tattoo!

- Feel free to bring things to entertain yourself, snacks, water, and a blanket or whatever will help you be comfortable! We might be here for awhile, so you might as well make yourself at home!

  • Do I tip my tattoo artist?

Tipping is always appreciated, but never required! The most important thing to me is the outcome of your tattoo and that we're both happy with it! Tipping, whether monetary or other, let's me know that the process is going well and that you enjoy your tattoo!

  • How do touch-up sessions work?

It's rare for one of my tattoos not to heal well. However, life happens and sometimes you have a rough heal. In the off chance this happens, I do allow one free touch up within 6 months of the application. This does not include changes or additions to the tattoo.
